The easiest method to begin placing holds is to first login to your account from the Sierra ENCORE Catalog homepage. In the upper right hand corner, click on login, type the 14 digit barcode (no spaces) from your library card into the box labeled Barcode. Then tab (do not press <enter>) to move to the Password box below. Type your password into the box and then press <Enter>. (Tip: Your password what you set up, if you forgot your password, please go to How to Reset my Password).
Enter search words into the quick search box, and click the <Search> button or press <Enter>. When you find a title you would like to place on hold, click the <Request it> button, this will take you to the Request it box where you will see a drop down box to select your preferred location for pickup and click on the submit button, as this will place the item on hold.
Depending upon the number of copies available in the region, the number of holds on the title, and the courier delivery schedule, you can expect to the material to be available at your pickup library within two days to three weeks. If you have not received notification that your hold is available within three weeks, contact your local librarian. Items that have been received at the pickup location will remain available to you for pickup for 10 calendar days.
