TdS email groups and meet-ups

  1. Check with your supervisor or give us a call about which TdS email groups and meetings would be most appropriate and beneficial. Library directors of our member libraries assign their staff to our various listserves.

  2. Public and Sierra library directors meet virtually on Tuesdays at 9:30 for about an hour to share ideas. Meeting information is sent out on the TdS library directors group list.

  3. School media center staff meet virtually about once a month to share ideas. Meeting iformation is sent out on the TdS k12libraries group list.

  1. Level Up! is a clearing house of continuing education opportunities for Minnesota library staff.

  2. Solo Librarian resources lists best practices, tutorials, and background information. It is useful for any library staff member, where working alone or not.

  3. Linking Our Libraries is a free podcast that teaches library skills produced by our colleagues at the Central Minnesota Libraries Exchange

  4. Ischool Wisconsin continuing education has offered classes and conferences that our members have found very valuable.

Metrobriefs is a Twin Cities-centric newsletter often filled with information relevant to the whole state. It is produced by MELSA and Metronet; both are regional library systems.
