How to get a public library card:

Libraries issue free library cards to their area residents. Call your local public library to ask exactly what you will need to bring on your visit. Libraries need some form of identification and usually a proof of address. Typical items you can use are a bill or piece of mail, or a drivers license. It is usual for parents to need to sign for a child to get a card.
